12 Days of Poker Update: Huge Prizes Still Up for Grabs
by Bodog Poker | Dec 25 2009
There's no place to play poker during the holidays like Bodog Poker.
The 12 Days of Poker promotion is just one of the promotions that's in full swing, and there's still time to take advantage of the holiday opportunities. Some nice prizes have already been won, and 50 lucky players have won a seat in Bodog's 100K Guaranteed.
After earning only 25 to 75 poker points in a day, Bodog players get their names entered in a draw to win that day's holiday loot. The more they play the more entries they get for that day. So far two Sony Bravia 52" televisions and two Sony VAIO computers have been claimed.
The 12 Days of Poker began back on Dec 16 and will finish on December 27. On Monday the 21 five seats to the $100K and a Sony VAIO Laptop were up for grabs. Tuesday's draw was for the first Sony Bravia 52" TV and 15 seats into the $100K guaranteed. On Wednesday Bodog gave away the Sony VAIO desktop computer and 10 seats into the big event. Christmas Eve's draw had 20 $100K seats and another Sony Bravia 52" TV. One of those Sony Bravia 52" TV's went to a player named "ranalaw" from California.
Some of the lucky players who will be playing in this week's $100K guaranteed include;
"goodspeed" from California, "count2zero" from Virginia, "pesto" from California, "supercharger" from Minnesota, "doubleb9" from South Carolina, "troutman101" from Massachusetts, "homey13" from Wisconsin, "BigB23" of California, and "bigk13" from Hawaii. They'll all get a chance to take advantage of the biggest overlays in online poker and walk away with the $25K first-place prize.
But the fun is not over for awhile yet. Still to be won are 23 seats into the $100K guaranteed, a Samsung 55" LED LCD TV, a Sony HD Camcorder, and a Canon PowerShot Camera. Don't miss your chance to win a nice prize just for playing poker. Anyone can win regardless of skill level. You just need a little Christmas luck to smile on you, and a return mailing address so the goods can be delivered to you. Get your game on and get your name entered to win in the 12 Days of Poker. You can't win if you don't play, and it doesn't take much play to acquire the needed points.
Bodog Poker Points can be earned in ring games and tournaments. In cash games, points are awarded in pots according to contributed rake, with 0.10 points awarded for $0.05 to $0.20 in rake, 0.25 points awarded for $0.25 to $0.45 in rake, 0.50 points awarded for $0.50 to $0.95 in rake, and one full point earned for $1 to $3 in rake.
In tournaments, three Bodog Poker Points will be earned for every $1 in entry fees that's paid by the player. And regardless of stakes, one point is given out for every hour spent playing on Bodog.
