One of the best positions to be in during a
sit-and-go tournament is sitting behind a big stack, with three or four players left, when play is on the bubble. "On the bubble" means that the next player to get knocked out of the tournament will not finish in the money. The other two or three will make money, making this time very crucial. When you have a big stack in this situation you can take advantage of the other players who are trying to survive.
At this point the other players are only thinking about survival. They will calculate how many big blinds they have left in their stack and will try to play as conservative as possible until another player is eliminated. If you start throwing raises into the pot they will be forced to fold hand after hand. Eventually someone will have a big hand and will look to double up on you. You can decide at the time if it's worth a call to try to eliminate them, or you can just back off and steal the next pot.
Keep putting on the pressure until someone is gone. Then remember to change back to fewer
bluffs because the mindsets of your opponents have changed, now that they've made it to the money.
