BPOIII Overview
On May 3rd 2009, the
Bodog Poker Open III wrapped up a hugely successful week of tournaments with the $470+$30 buy-in
BPO3 Main Event, and coming out on top of the 279-player field to capture the $40,283 first-place prize was online player "
biffsworld".
The 23-year-old has been playing on Bodog since October 2007 and has taken down several tournaments over the past couple of years, but this is by far his biggest cash. "Biffsworld" did not have an easy road to victory either as the field featured several well-known online poker pros including Bodog Poker pro
Justin Bonomo and Bodog regulars "

vinnyb9", "3pounder" and the inaugural BPO Main Event winner "
phatcat".
